Prized privacy policy
Effective date: 22 October 2026
Policy version: privacy-v5
Prized is made by Xybrid, Inc. Questions about this policy or your data
go to [email protected].
The short version
- Your conversations stay on your phone. What you type, say, show the
camera or attach, and every answer, is processed on your phone. We never
receive it.
- Quests need our servers. When you run a Quest, the app sends us an
anonymous account, proof the run came from a genuine copy of the app on a
real phone, and the benchmark's numbers. That is how points and draw
entries work when campaigns are enabled. The campaign-free beta records
results without new points or entries.
- We count how the app is used. We receive usage events and crash
reports, never their content, under a random identifier that is not tied
to your account, with an approximate location worked out from your
internet address. You can turn this off in the app.
- Mobile messaging uses OneSignal. It registers your app installation
when the app starts. Push notifications appear only with your permission;
registration and messaging activity are separate from Usage counts.
- We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or track you across
other companies' apps and websites. We don't train AI models on it.
What stays on your phone
- Your conversations: messages, the images you attach, and the answers.
- Your voice, which is turned into text on the phone.
- The camera, when you ask about what it sees. Frames are read on the phone.
- Your custom instructions and settings.
- The AI models themselves, which run on the phone.
Like any app's data, these may be included in your phone's own backups
(iCloud or Google), under your settings for those backups. Deleting the app
removes them from the phone.
What leaves your phone, and why
When you use Quests
An anonymous account. The first time you use Quests, the app signs in
anonymously with Firebase Authentication (Google). This creates a random
account id; we don't ask for your name, email or phone number. Your points
and draw entries belong to this account.
Proof the app and phone are genuine. So a Quest's result can be trusted,
the app uses the phone's own checks: on iPhone, Apple's App Attest and
DeviceCheck; on Android, Google Play Integrity; and Firebase App Check for
both. The app also creates a signing key that stays in the phone's secure
hardware and signs each result. We store your installation's record: its
public key, platform, app version and build, the result of these checks, and
the version of this policy in force when it registered.
